Hada Labo Gokujyun Foaming Face Wash is a very famous, at least online, japanese foam cleanser. This is the first item I tried from the brand, the second one being the Koi Gokujyun Perfect UV Gel, for which I did an entry already here. This cleanser is so raved and hyped up in the skincare and beauty comunity that of course I had to buy it! 

 El limpiador Hada Labo Gokujyun Foaming Face Wash es un muy famoso, al menos en internet, limpiador en espuma. Éste fue el primer producto que probé de la marca, lo compré junto con la crema de sol Koi Gokujyun Perfect UV Gel de la que ya hablé aquí. Se habla tanto y tan bien de éste limpiador en la "comunidad" de cremas etc que por supuesto tenía que probarlo.

Hada Labo Gokujyun Foaming Face Was comes in a 160ml hard (very hard) plastic bottle. The pump system is very convenient and personally my favorite, because when you have your whole face and hands wet, you just have to press it down and the product comes out smoothly. This is protect by a clip-y thing, great for traveling but also for storing so you don't press it accidentaly, although that would be a hard thing to do because it's smooth but not that smooth (maybe if you drop it, or drop something on it... you get the idea). I recently known that this is the 2016 version, in case you're wondering.

El Hada Labo Gokujyun Foaming Face Wash viene en un bote de plástico duro de 160ml de capacidad. El dispensador es muy útil y personalmente mi tipo favorito para éste tipo de productos, así cuando se tiene la cara y manos (y a veces incluso brazos) empapados no hay que mojar nada en exceso. Viene con una protección que se asemeja a un clip, genial para viajar o incluso cuando está guardado para no presionarlo accidentalmente, aunque más bien para no tirar nada encima o algo así, porque aunque funciona muy suave, no es tan suave como "tocarlo y baja" (se me entiende, creo). Hace poco me enteré que ésta versión que tengo es la del 2016.

If I had to pick point a thing that surprised me about the Hada Labo Gokujyun Foaming Face Was was the amount of foam that comes out of a single pump. The one pictured is just half a pump. So, obviously, this is a self-foaming cleanser. This is good because with a little bit amount of the liquid inside the container, you get a ton of foam to wash your face, and therefore, this lasts a lot. The smell is totally like chemicals, I was expecting a flowery scent or something on those lines, but nope, chemicals.
Si tuviera que elegir una cosa que me haya sorprendido del Hada Labo Gokujyun Foaming Face Wash es la cantidad de espuma que sale directamente del dispensador. Lo que fotografié es sólo la mitad. Así que, obviamente, éste es un limpiador que hace espuma "automática", el producto mismo genera la espuma mientras sale del dispensador. Esto está muy bien porque la cantidad de líquido (lo que en realidad tiene la botella) que se necesita para esto es mínima, por lo que el limpiador dura muchísimo. El olor que tiene es totalmente a químicos, que me gusta, pero estaba esperando algo en plan flores, naturaleza, peeeero no, químicos.

The biggest problem I have with the cleanser is that I can't never "hold" the foam. I have to have my face so so wet to have foam in my face after a few seconds, but I can never hold it through out the cleansing step.  Maybe I'm doing it wrong but it's just so weird for me to be using a foaming cleanser without foam. The first few times I've used I was suspicious that I wasn't using it correctly and therefore wasn't cleaning my face but after those times I was just like "well, maybe this is how it's supposed to be". I'm still not really sold out in this method, sadly.
El mayor problema que tengo con éste limpiador es que nunca puedo mantener la espuma. Tengo que tener la cara súper mojada para que haya un mínimo de espuma mientras me la limpio, nunca consigo que esté ahí los casi 3 minutos. Quizás sea que lo hago mal pero es que para mí es muy raro utilizar un limpiador en espuma y no tener espuma en la cara. Las primeras veces pensaba que era porque estaba haciendo algo mal pero después ya fue como "bueno es que igual tiene que ser así". No las tengo todas conmigo con éste método.

In spite of my suspicions, Hada Labo's Gokujyun Foaming Face Wash does work. I started using it when I had my face completely ruined, I already wrote about it in this entry. After a few days of using it, combined with my almost whole new routine, I could really notice that white heads were not really there anymore. I mean, there were, but they never grow out to be what they could have been (a disaster, that's it). Even if it does the job controlling excess of oil without drying my face, I have also noticed that it does almost nothing with my black heads. It's not that I have too many of them, luckily, but other cleansers "bring out" the black heads and eventually removes them. However, I haven't noticed that happening with this Hada Labo cleanser.

A pesar de mis sospechas, Hada Labo Gokujyun Foaming Face Wash sí funciona. Lo empecé a utilizar cuando tenía la cara totalmente destrozada, de lo que ya hablé por encima en ésta entrada. Después de unos días de utilizarlo junto con mi prácticamente nueva rutina, empecé a notar como algunos granitos (de "cabeza blanca", ¿se denominan así en castellano? pff...) no estaba ahí del todo. Me explico: seguí teniendo granitos durante un montón de tiempo, pero nunca crecían del todo y la hinchazón y rojeces de los mismos iban disminuyendo. A pesar de que hace muy buen trabajo controlando el exceso de grasa en mi piel sin dejarla seca, también me he dado cuenta que no hace prácticamente nada con los puntos negros. No es que tenga muchos, pero otros limpiadores sí que me han disminuido poco a poco los puntos negros (los van "sacando" hasta limpiar el poro por completo). Pero como comentaba, no he notado que ésta de Hada Labo lo haga.

On the bright side, the Hada Labo Gokujyun Foaming Face Wash is low PH, something that might sound great for a lot of people because it's a self foaming cleanser but it does have a pH of 5.5! The best pH levels for skin, specially acne prone skin, are between 5 and 6, since the skin has a pH of 7. It's not something that I always take into account when buying a cleanser, but my skin feels less tight after using them comparing to one with a high pH level. Sadly, all the ingredients in the bottle are written in japanese and I can't read it, but here you have them written, and the first ingredients is water. So this being water based actually makes sense in why the foam doesn't last in my skin.
Siendo positivos, el Hada Labo Gokujyun Foaming Face Wash tiene un PH bajo, algo que puede sonar fantástico para mucha gente porque al ser un limpiador que genera automáticamente la espuma es muy raro que tenga un pH de 5.5. Los mejores niveles de pH para la pie, especialmente las grasas con tendencia acnéicas, son entre 5 y 6, ya que el pH neutro de la piel es 7. No es algo que siempre tenga en cuenta cuando voy a comprar un limpiador nuevo, pero siempre que utilizo un limpiador con un pH bajo siento la piel menos tirante y seca en comparación a haber utilizado uno de pH alto. Todos los ingredientes están escritos en japonés y no puedo leerlos, pero si os interesa, en éste blog tienen escritos los de la antigua y la nueva formulación, y el primer ingrediente es agua. Así que en realidad tiene sentido que la espuma no dure en la piel.

All in all, the  Hada Labo Gokujyun Foaming Face Wash is a very good low pH cleanser that should work specially in acne prone skin and help people with acne problems. I also really like that the company has a refilling system: if you like the cleanser so much that you want to repurchase it, you just have tu buy the refill and well, refill your bottle. 
Even if it does the job and it's a good product, I don't really *get* the craze about it, I was expecting something outstanding because of the hype this one has, but it honestly didn't surprise me. I paid roughly 8€ for it, so obviously the prize-quality relation is amazing.
Con todo, el Hada Labo Gokujyun Foaming Face Wash es un muy buen limpiador con bajo pH que debería funcionar genial, sobre todo en gente que tenga la piel con tendencia acnéica y a ayudar con los problemas de acné. También me gusta mucho que la compañía proporcione un sistema de "relleno": si te gusta el limpiador tanto que quieres volver a comprarlo, basta con comprar la bolsita de "relleno" y pues, eso, rellenar tu botella. 
A pesar de que hace su trabajo y es un producto bueno, no entiendo del todo el porqué de su fama, estaba esperando algo que fuera increíble desde el primer momento pero siendo sinceros, en ningún momento me ha sorprendido. Pagué sobre los 8€ por éste producto, así que sobre decir que la relación calidad-precio es muy buena.
