I will admit that while I enjoy Tony Moly's makeup (specially my all time favorite eyeliner), I always doubted them for skincare because let's say that their ingredients weren't the best. And I will also admit that this was the first time I went out to try a product because of a celebrity endorsment- Seo Kang Joon was just too much on my facebook feed with the adds for this cream. But after trying a sample of it, I was really sold on it.

Debo admitir que a pesar de que me gusta el maquillaje de Tony Moly (en especial my eyeliner favorito del mundo mundial), siempre he tenido cierta reserva hacia sus productos para el cuidado de la piel porque digamos que por lo general no tienen los mejores ingredientes. Y también debo admitir que ésta fue la primera vez que me dio por probar un producto por quién era imagen: Seo Kang Jon aparecía demasiado en mi facebook con los anuncios de ésta crema. Pero después de probar una muestra, me convenció del todo.

The Tony Moly The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream, according to the brand and as you can see on the box, contains 100% pure green tea ferment extract, and it's also supposed to be a very concentrated moisturizing cream. Green Tea is not only an excellent antioxidant if you drink it, but also one of the best skincare ingredients, specially for oily skin, since it soothes the skin while also being a great antioxidant applied topically.

La crema The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream de Tony Moly, según la marca y como podéis ver en la caja, contiene un 100% de extracto fermentado de té verde, y se supone que también es una crema hidratante muy concentrada. El Té Verde no es sólo un buen antioxidante si se bebe, sino que también es uno de los mejores ingredientes en cosmética, especialmente para piel grasa, porque calma la piel a la vez que es un genial antioxidante aplicado tópicamente.

The container of the Tony Moly The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream is a plastic jar with a screw cap, that sadly doesn't come with a spatula (although I have a lot of spatulas at home, since I can't pick creams in jars with my fingers because of my nails). The protector is actually once you open the jar, and it comes even sealed to the border of the actual jar. It comes in a cupboard box, with no additional plastic, which I like since the jar already have a lot of wasted plastic.

There are two sizes of the Tony Moly The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream, I got the smaller one which has 60ml and is lasting me forever (more on this later). However, the actual container of the cream is not as big as the jar, if you see it to the light, it doesn't even come down half of the green part. I understand that it looks prettier like this, and it's maybe even more inexpensive to make like this, but...


El recipiente de la The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream de Tony Moly es un tarro de plástico con tapa rosca, y no viene con espátula de plástico (aunque tengo un montón en casa, con lo largas que tengo las uñas me es imposible coger crema de estos tarros). El protector de sanidad te lo encuentras al abrrir el tarro, y está incluso prensado a los bordes del tarros. Viene en una caja de cartón, sin plástico adicional, lo que me gusta porque el tarro en sí ya tiene suficiente plástico.

Hay dos tamaños del The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream de Tony Moly, yo compré el más pequeño que es de 60ml y me está durando muchísimo (más sobre eso después). Pero lo que no me gusta tanto del diseño es que el recipiente en sí de la crema no es tan grande como el tarro, si se mira al trasluz se puede ver que no llega ni a la mitad de la zona verde. Entiendo que es más bonito así, y que incluso puede ser más fácil de fabricar pero...

I was very very pleased to see the ingredient list of the Tony Moly The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream. You can read the ingredient list on the picture, or even here at cosDNA if you need reassurance of the greatness: a lot of emollients and moisturizers and all the ingredients rated for a hazard level of 1 or 2, so very safe to use. But what surprised me the most of this ingredient list it's that the first ingredient is actually (wait for it) green tea! It's so unusual to see the advertised ingredient to actually be the main ingredient in a product, that I have to give a round of applause to Tony Moly for this. And for how actually good the cream is.

The Tony Moly The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream is right now one of my favorite moisturizers, almost tied on the first place with Nature Republic's Super Fresh Aqua Watery Cream. And it's only second to it because the Tony Moly one isn't mattifying.


Me gustó muchísimo leer la lista de ingredientes de la The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream de Tony Moly. Podéis leerla en la foto o aquí en cosDNA si necesitáis aseguraros de la genialidad: un montón de emolientes e hidratantes, y todos los ingredientes en el nivel más bajo de posibles reacciones, el 1 o el 2. Pero lo que más me sorprendió de ésta lista de ingredientes es que el primer ingrediente es en realidad (redoble de tambores)... ¡té verde! Es tan raro ver el ingrediente de publicidad de un producto ser de verdad el ingrediente principal que tengo que aplaudir a Tony Moly muy fuerte. Y por lo buena que es la crema en sí.

La The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream de Tony Moly es ahora mismo una de mis cremas hidratantes favoritas, casi a la par de la Super Aqua Fresh Aqua Watery Cream de Nature Republic. Y no están empatadas en primer puesto porque la de Tony Moly no es matificante.

The Tony Moly The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream is a very light weight white cream that once spreads amazingly easy, feeling like emulsions do. For the first times I used it I applied way too much product, because the "a little goes a long way" was made for this cream: what you see on the photos is way too much for my face, and I'm not messing with you. I usually apply it little by little, instead of taking a certain amount of products and placing it all over my face.

La The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream de Tony Moly es una crema blanca ligerísima que una vez se empieza a extender se comporta más bien como las emulsiones. Las primeras veces que la probé me apliqué demasiado, porque de verdad que el dicho que hay en inglés que viene a querer decir que un poco da para mucho se hizo para ésta crema: lo que veis en las fotos es demasiado incluso para mi cara, y no me estoy quedando con vosotros. Normalmente me la aplico poco a poco, en vez de coger cierta cantidad y repartirla por la cara.

Being so lightweighted doesn't take away from the fact that the Tony Moly The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream is a highly moisturizing cream. So much that some summer nights I couldn't apply it because I knew it was going to be too much for my face (after doing the rest of my routine). However, it is not heavy on the skin at all, and doesn't clog pores. Not only is it moisturizing, but even applying it you can feel how it calms down the skin.

El que sea tan ligera no quita que ésta The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream de Tony Moly se una crema muy hidratante. Tanto que muchas noches de verano no podía dármela porque sabía que iba a ser demasiado (después de haber hecho el resto de mi rutina). A pesar de ello, no es pesada en la piel y no obstruye los poros. No sólo es hidratante, sino que según te la vas aplicando vas sintiendo cómo calma la piel.

The Tony Moly The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream honestly exceeded my expectations by far, specially from a brand that I didn't really think highly of for their skincare. Totally recommend you to try it, it doesn't matter your skin type, just that if you have dry skin I think you would use more product.

De verdad que la The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream de Tony Moly superó mis expectativas con creces, especialmente porque no tenía en muy alta estima el cuidado de la piel de ésta marca. Recomiendo totalmente que la probéis, no importa el tipo de piel, sólo que si tienes la piel seca tendrás que aplicarte algo más.
