About

My name is Idoia. Being born in late '92 in the Basque Country made me a bilingual (spanish and basque) -almost trilingual (+ english)- person since I was a child. I studied Architectural Engineering even though I want to go to the interior design ~route.
Almost 16 when I discovered Vogue (the Spain issue at that time) and realized that fashion isn't just about clothes, it then came, as a snowball effect, the love for make up, photography...
I have a very clear idea of my style in my head, but living between in a tiiny town (not even 4,000 people -yes I know, and yes, it is terrifying) and a small city where I went to Uni (I think the population is circa 150,000) I don't feel confortable showcasing it most of the time.
So until I can get out of there (because as the saying goes if your ideas are bigger than the town you're in you've got to get out of there) here is my little space, where I talk freely about what I like, hoping to entertain you while at it.

I started getting a lot more confortable with English when I started using the internet. In a lot of ways, I express myself ten times better in English than in Basque (almost all the time, to be honest...) and in Spanish. That's why I couldn't write this in Spanish only. I would fall really short in how I feel about things. Oh yes! I don't translate. I write about the same things in two languages- but in the way I speak in each one. And believe me, it is a lot different.
